100 years of CAMION TRANSPORT – a century on the roads with power and drive.

On 9 April 2025, we are celebrating a very special anniversary: We have been moving goods, ideas and people for 100 years – all the while writing our own success story. It’s a proud anniversary that reflects our journey from simple warehouse business in Wil to one of the leading transport and logistics companies in the whole of Switzerland.

From the first truck we bought in 1928, to the first time we used rail for the general cargo shuttle between Wil and Geneva, to our acquisition of the SBB subsidiary Cargo Domizil with two partners, not to mention pioneering initiatives in sustainability – we have helped shape our industry with a spirit of innovation, pioneering thinking, and huge amounts of dedication. We have set milestones, taken bold decisions, and consistently evolved with the times, including the recent digitalisation of our processes.

It isn’t technology and processes that make us special, though – it’s the people behind them. That means our employees, our customers and our partners. And, of course, our roots as a family business: CAMION TRANSPORT has been owned by the Jäger family since 1991 – with heart, vision and clear values.

We look to our past with pride – and to the future with enthusiasm.
